Deciduous vs Evergreen Trees

Do you know what the difference between a deciduous and evergreen tree is?

Well, deciduous trees are the trees that lose their leaves in Autumn. Evergreen trees stay green and keep their leaves and needles all year round.

When people think of evergreen trees, they usually think of Christmas trees. Christmas Trees are typically firs but there are many more different types of evergreen trees, such as spruce, holly, cedar , and hemlocks.

Other trees, such as oak, maple, ash, birch, beech, and tulip trees are types of deciduous trees that have no leaves in the winter time. Deciduous tree’s leaves will change different colors and then fall off of the tree in Autumn.
