Goats eat many things, but they are browsers not grazers, so they will prefer to eat leaves of shrubs and trees and their specialty weeds. Goats do you a favor and eat the weakest to the toughest weeds and are one of the best animals for vegetation control. Sometimes machinery can’t reach certain places like a steep hill while goats can! In areas that have massive amounts of unwanted vegetation, think about using goats instead of toxic herbicides that can be harmful to people and animals and can harm the environment. Goats are useful to clear land without using machinery powered by gasoline or diesel and or herbicides, they will even eat invasive species.
